SAS Group Show - Yerba Buena
The SAS Group show theme proposal for Yerba Buena is Childhood Reflections. Here are some further descriptions of the theme, Childhood Reflections could be a child hood dream that you lost and/or rediscovered, a childhood's memory, moment or a beloved toy. Adult reflections on childhood, rediscovered, lost or otherwise, rediscovered joy, a second childhood, a childlike view of the world, toys etc. The deadline for a slide or photo of your art work for submission to Yerba Buena is Nov 8, which is the November SAS Meeting. FYI The slide or photo that you submit for this show must be a final, or a slide or photo of the final work that you will submit to the SAS Yerba Buena Group Show.
BTW This theme, Childhood Reflections, was decided upon based on the feedback from the YB curator, who suggested SAS do a group show with toys or a childhood theme.
SAS Group Show - SF Library
The library has some specific requirements (see attached word doc) . The key elements of an exhibit are historical and educational significance. It is also recommended that all artwork be uniform in size, so no larger than 16X20.
